Bones was released on Halloween 2016 and is now considered the default vocal for Alter/Ego.

History

The voice was introduced in Jan 2016 as the first male vocal for the software under the name of "Bones_β".[2]

In March it was reported the first working demo was completed.[3]

Chinese

Alter/Ego Chinese was first publicly considered in April 2016, and it was finally announced that Bones would have a Chinese vocal in December 2016.[4][5] The idea behind the voicebank, was to thereby prove that the engine could in fact handle Chinese and open up the option for more languages to be used in the Alter/Ego.

He later released a sample of the Chinese voice bank in its early developmental stage singing Mo Li Hua.[6]

It has been confirmed that his Chinese voicebank is now cancelled.
